In Little Nightmares II, the heroine of the "one" - Six - returns, but this time she is not a playable character. The first violin is played by a boy named Mono, who, together with the girl, has to face the terror lurking in a new place, distorted by a transmission broadcast from a distant Signal Tower, hiding many dark secrets. The protagonist goes on a journey to a mysterious tower bristling with numerous obstacles and hindered by the terrible inhabitants of the world rotting from within, to discover the source of evil spreading through the TV screens, and to save the Six from a terrifying fate. Mono is her only hope.

The graphics in Little Nightmares II have the same style as in the first part. Dark atmosphere and grotesque aesthetics prevail. The quality of the graphics has been slightly raised compared to the predecessor, and the musical setting and sounds of the environment emphasize the atmosphere of terror and constant anxiety. Little Nightmares II is for single player only. The control over the second character is taken over by artificial intelligence, which reacts according to the situation and behavior of the hero we control.
Gameplay
As in the first part, the gameplay in Little Nightmares II is logical and dexterity, i.e. it consists of jumping between platforms, overcoming obstacles, avoiding traps, solving environmental puzzles that require logical thinking, as well as hiding from the eyes of enemies or running away from them. The player still needs to be vigilant at every step. The most important change from the first Little Nightmares is the presence of two heroes who work together during the game, especially when overcoming traps and solving puzzles (in a way reminiscent of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons). There are also fresh gameplay mechanics, with the occasional simple combat system at the forefront. The locations and the dangers that lurk in them are also unseen before, such as a sadistic school teacher or a bloodthirsty forest hunter.
